Raquel Ortega is an associate professor in the Department of management & Organization at the University of Zaragoza. She earned his Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Zaragoza, having spent most of his doctoral thesis at Warwick University (UK).

She teaches at the Department of Organization and Management of Zaragoza, which has been the Vice- Chair from 2012 to 2015.

Raquel Ortega has developed an intense academic and professional activity in different areas of work, Human Resources Management, Intellectual Capital, Talent Management, Corporate Entrepreneurship and Work-Life Balance.

In the professional field, Raquel Ortega is Consultant since 2000, having belonged to Watson Wyatt and being currently linked to the multinational firm People Matters.

She has taught in various professional programs at Instituto de Empresa (IE) and is the main Researcher of several projects of public consultation (eg Ministry of Defence and Government of Aragon) and private (FUNDEAR).

She is currently the Director of the Course at the University of Zaragoza "Consulting and Advisory for Professionals Entrepreneurship" and member of ECO2013-45599-R Project of the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness.

Raquel Ortega has been Research Visiting at Warwick University (UK), the University of Rhode Island (USA) and Boston College (USA), and has published their research articles in various journals indexed in the Journal of Citations Report.
